Grasmere to Patterdale

Today we walked over some mountains.

An early look back at where we’d come from.

Mountaintop minion break! We found gummy minions yesterday.

 Waterfall (one of many):

Moss taking a picture of Grisedale Tarn:

A tarn is a pond in the mountains.

 The Brothers Parting Stone:

Here William Wordsworth Sid good bye to his brother John for the last time.

We saw mostly sheep, but there was also evidence of cows:

(“What’s a cow plop, Mommy?”)

 One more waterfall shot:

Now we are safely ensconced at The Old Water View, and happy to be done walking.
